Computer Adventures (www.computeradventures.com) is looking for part-time instructors to teach afterschool enrichment classes at schools in Westchester, New York. Training will be provided. Our curriculum is fun and educational. Most of our classes are one to two hours of instruction delivered after normal school hours. This is an in-person teaching position.
Responsibilities:
1-Deliver instruction in schools as assigned using curriculum provided by Computer Adventures.
2-Attend training session provided Computer Adventures.
3-Prepare for classes.
4-Manage teaching schedule & attendance through Computer Adventures’ scheduling software.
5-May need to transport and manage assigned equipment.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience teaching or supervising children (teaching certificate a plus, but not required).
-Must have experience working with computers.
-Enjoy teaching, working with children and technology.
-Dependable, prompt and flexible.
-Able to work independently.
Requirements:
Willingness to have background check and fingerprint clearance.
