We’re a team of two Harvard entrepreneurs (one of whom sold his last company to Walmart), looking to revolutionize how older adults deal with technology. We’re hiring an amazing person eager to help adults and seniors navigate and resolve their technology frustrations.
Responsibilities:
- Providing email, phone, and video support to adults with technology questions
- Troubleshooting computer, phone, and software problems
- Working with older adults and providing simple, easy-to-follow explanations
- Communicating efficiently and being personable, patient, and sympathetic
- Maintaining organized records and documentation of support communications
- Working with the team (currently two people) to optimize service and identify areas for growth
Preferred qualifications:
- Customer service experience (online and over phone/video)
- Strong knowledge of Apple products (iPhone, MacBook, iPad), PCs, and Androids
- Extreme resourcefulness and ability to independently solve unfamiliar problems
- Experience working with senior citizens and older adults
- Experience using Zendesk, Desk, or similar CRMs
- Attention to detail and obsessive organizational skills
- Interest in entrepreneurship
Compensation and schedule:
- $16/hour
- 1+ hour per day (flexible), 7 days/week
