Position: Weekend Front Desk Receptionist
Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am - 7:30 pm
About Us:
We are a comprehensive doggy daycare, dog boarding, dog grooming, and pet supply store dedicated to providing exceptional care for our canine friends. We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Weekend Front Desk Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Monitor and manage the front desk area.
Schedule appointments for dog grooming, daycare, and boarding services.
Handle invoicing and perform data entry tasks.
Maintain the grooming calendar and update schedules as needed.
Manage retail inventory, including stock pricing, organization, and cleanliness.
Answer phone inquiries and provide basic company information.
Respond to emails and manage mail correspondence.
Perform clerical duties such as taking memos, maintaining files, and organizing documents.
Assist in the daycare as needed.
General cleaning of the office area and retail space.
Requirements:
A genuine love and compassion for dogs.
Ability to work well with pet parents, colleagues, and customers, demonstrating graciousness and understanding.
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree or relevant administrative and clerical experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Highly organized with excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
