We are in search of a dynamic, proactive, and empathetic Financial Patient Coordinator to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for patients regarding their financial obligations, ensuring a seamless experience from treatment planning to payment. This role blends elements of Guest Services, Financial Counseling, and Collections, all with an aim to enhance patient satisfaction while meeting our revenue goals.

We seek someone with a retail-oriented mindset who can bring a "How can I help you?" approach to our dental practice. Prior experience in retail or financial services is an advantage, but not a requirement. What is non-negotiable is your dedication to exceptional customer service, effective communication, and your ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with tact and discretion.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Warmly greet and assist patients with their financial inquiries and responsibilities.

Develop and present clear, accurate treatment cost estimates, ensuring patients are fully aware of their financial obligations.

Establish and manage payment plans, lines of credit, or other financial solutions to assist patients in financing their treatment.

Monitor and manage the collections process, maintaining targeted revenue streams.

Liaise with dental insurance providers to verify eligibility and benefits, submitting claims as necessary.

Facilitate prompt and accurate payment collections from patients.

Maintain detailed financial records and generate regular reports on collection metrics and patient accounts.

Collaborate with other team members to optimize the scheduling process for financial efficiency.

Answer questions from patients about their treatment plans, insurance, and financial options.

Handle new patient inquiries via phone and email, ensuring their financial concerns are addressed before appointment scheduling.

What You Bring to the Team:

In-depth knowledge of insurance plans and the claims process.

Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.

Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
