Position: Purchasing Associate - Used Technology Equipment
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct extensive market research to identify potential sources of used technology equipment within the education, enterprise, and healthcare sectors.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of used technology equipment.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable agreements for the company.
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement rigorous quality assurance processes for evaluating the condition and functionality of used technology equipment.
Collaborate with the technical team to establish quality standards and specifications.
Procurement Strategies:
Devise effective procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing process and minimize costs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
Generate regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and inventory levels.
Compliance and Sustainability:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in the procurement of used technology equipment.
Contribute to the company's sustainability goals by promoting the reuse and recycling of technology assets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the technology sector.
