Alba Medical Supply a DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT (DME) company, is looking for a multiskilled Operations Manager with extensive experience in managing a durable Medical Equipment facility in the medical industry for its Brooklyn location.
Requirements:
2 to 3 years management experience in a Durable Medical Supply facility preferred·
DME or medical supply experience required·
Must have extensive knowledge of medical insurance billing practices·
Must have a minimum of 3 years Customer service experience·
Associates degree or higher required in Business or related or equivalent experience in DME
Must have a solid understanding of inventory management and purchasing·
Medical terminology and experience required·
Basic skills in general business practices and marketing.

This senior level position will be responsible for day to day operation management including referral intake activities, customer support activities and billing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong professional history of developing and coaching a team of staff, managing change and driving efficiency in fast paced, hands on retail environment.
Responsibilities of Home Medical Equipment Operations Manager Include:
Lead and develop a team of customer service representatives and support staff, intake coordinators, billers and collection specialists.
Serve as liaison and build meaningful relationships with; Leadership peers, Billing, Finance and Operations Departments, External referral sources and vendors.
Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulations and reimbursement.
Maintain P&L, budget, planning, inventory, point-of-sale cash register system, employee relations and overall management of the department.
