The US Branch of a large european shipping/Logistics group, present on the US Market for more than 50 years is looking to hire as soon as possible a Managing Director-CFO/COO to head its US operations ; selected candidate will report to the Head Management (President) of this Group based at the head office in France.
Main mission will consist of:
- Assisting the Upper level Management based in Europe in sales, marketing and clients development plans, formulating the company’s financial plans and supporting managers on tactical initiatives (pricing, business negotiations…)
- . Analyzing prices, submitting new ideas in order to increase sales and revenues with financial results and variances versus budget or last forecast.
-. Maintaining budgets, improvement plans, new organizations, processes, methods and systems
- Monitor and coordinate all risks and open legal issues involving the company with the help of the Group’s support services (Legal, Tax, Insurance, Credit Management).
The Managing director as business leader will be responsible for the development of the US Market Clientele, (sales development), the financial situation; he will be able to demonstrate strong capabilities to lead and grow the business in various fields related to the products; he or she will interact effectively across the organizations at all levels.

Main Requirements
Degree in Finance/accounting /Operations Management preferred
5 + years experience same capacity in logistics/international shipping (managing a subsidiary-sales development)
Strong knowledge in Logistic and International shipping is preferred
Strong experience in sales required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proven planning and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and lead a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good Knowledge IN FRENCH
