Assistant Vice President (Atlas Securitized Products Partners, L.P. – New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Extract functional and quality requirements from business users, analyze problems, design solutions, and deduce and plan development tasks and timelines required to deliver solutions. Employ technical requirements engineering, apply software design principles to architect solutions, and follow agile methodologies to plan and deliver solutions. Work on new and existing projects covering the pricing and revenue platform, prefunding staging and funding applications, end of day report generation, and projects involving cash reconciliation and invoicing. Enhance user experience by integrating feedback from business users, providing innovative solutions and making critical data easily available and accessible for business analysis. Implement solutions using .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Tibco EMS. Participate in entire development lifecycle of projects from design, implementation through post production development support and provide necessary support to quality assurance and production support teams. Maintain and rewrite legacy applications with updated technologies Work with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, MS SQL Server, MVC, SOAP/REST Web Services, Oracle, and messaging technologies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in software development. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Designing and developing software solutions; C# and .NET; SPA Framework (AngularJS), JavaScript, MVC, and SOAP/REST web services; Utilizing database skills with RDBMS systems such as SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase; Developing JavaScript applications; Debugging JavaScript using the browser tools including IE11, Chrome, and Firebug; and Utilizing messaging technologies including TIBCO EMS.
