Bookkeeper / Office Assistant
A well-established wholesale company in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a smart, confident, and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a degree in accounting and proven experience in all phases of accounting. Quick Books proficiency is required. Prior experience in wholesale trade or CPA firms is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of accounting experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent internal and external customer service abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Quick Books Desktop
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently
Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Generating Financial Reports
Bank Reconciliation
Invoicing
Journal Entries
Payment Processing
Ordering Office Supplies
Filing
Preparing and Processing Check Requests
Managing Office Mail
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
