RG19607Position: Quant DeveloperLocation: New York City, NYCompensation: $150,000 - $250,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Paid RelocationThis is a hybrid / remote position.Job Description:This Client is a global event-driven hedge fund that manages a $3.8B RAUM.They are looking to fill a quantitative research role as we build out their investment technology and aim to have a quantitative process play a bigger part in their investment strategy.Qualifications:B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.3+ years or related experience.Proficiency in Python and R/R Shiny (design/deploy) is a plus.Productionize models using GIT/SDLC/other version control tools.Deep understanding of algorithms and working with unstructured data (ingestion, wrangling, cleansing).Basic database knowledge (SQL queries).Experience with Azure/cloud environments is a plus.Broad knowledge and experience in finance (primarily equities) preferably with a hedge fund/asset manager quant team.Strong oral and written skills to work with Research, Trading, and other team members.Tactical Excel experience (VBA, macros), report automation.
