- The candidate must be a W2 consultant with Aegistech
- The role is remote to begin.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly reports related to financial instruments
- Assist with the month end closing process, including operating expense accruals, transfer pricing and compensation accruals.
- Assist with expenses related to affiliate agreements, including intercompany balancing, reconciliation and invoicing.
- Assist with the preparation and update of detailed procedures for Corporate Accounting closing and reporting activities.
- 5-7 years of progressive Financial reporting experience in large, complex banking or financial institutions. Securities industry experience preferable.
- Strong technical accounting skills, and understanding of US GAAP, as related to financial instruments.
- Microsoft Excel - pivot, vlook up - must have
- Possess excellent communication skills and comfort interfacing with senior management.
- Experience with and understanding of financial instruments like derivatives and securities lending is a must.
- BS/BA or MS/MBA in Accounting required
