Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer payments. You’ll be responsible for assisting with invoicing, monitoring accounts for overdue payments, and supporting our AR team in various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send invoices to clients
Record payments and maintain accurate financial records
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments
Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving payment discrepancies
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
Assist with filing and organizing financial documents
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting/finance field
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in a finance or accounting environment (internships or part-time roles welcome)
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
