A boutique real estate acquisition, development and management company located in south Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced bookkeeper/office manager. The ideal candidate must possess a can do attitude and have great communication skills (verbal and written). We are a small and pleasant work atmosphere; potential team member providing administrative support to principal, with main focus on and as a bookkeeper.
Experience and knowledge of real estate and or property management is a plus.
The essential responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Maintaining vendor, customer, project files;
- Processing invoices and purchase orders;
- Accounts payable and receivables;
- Drafting and responding to emails, maintaining calendar, scanning/filing.
Desired skills and abilities:
- Working knowledge of cloud based programs/applications such as Dropbox and Google Workspace.
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- 4+ years of direct or related experience.
- Advanced Quickbooks software skills.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Russian speaking a plus
- Work Authorization
- Positive outlook
