Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer to join our team. This is a commission-based position with significant potential for growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeper:
Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Tax Preparer:
Prepare individual and business tax returns.
Review financial records and documents to ensure accuracy.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is required for the bookkeeping role.
Experience in tax preparation is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
High School Diploma required; College degree is preferred.
Excellent time management and phone etiquette skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Must pass a credit check and background check.
