Associate Director – Credit Technology (Apollo Management Holdings L.P. – Greenwich, CT); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary of $210,000 - $230,000 per year. Work with middle office professionals to help them understand and produce business and functional requirements; collaborating with the development teams to implement solutions using methodologies in computer science, business and information systems; assisting with management, planning, estimation, scheduling and delivery for proposed system projects, including capacity assessment deployment risks and more in SQL server using key performance indicator attribute assessments, capacity and performance assessments, scalability and reliability assessment; working with Apollo internal resources to establish the appropriate business system development approach, budget and timeline; reviewing, analyzing, and validating the business, functional and technical requirements to develop creative solutions and implement agreed upon business solutions; determining how a business system should work and how changes in business logic, operations, and environment will impact outcome using knowledge of system design concepts and methodologies; analyzing business and technical needs and models, the as-is and the to-be scenarios, preparing process workflows, DFDs, test plans, and more using Microsoft Visio; participating in stakeholder meetings for requirements elicitation in producing accurate business requirements and requirements specifications as well as a use case document; reviewing and participating in business systems design approval and providing confirmation on the requirements coverage using knowledge of application and system design concepts and IT project management methodologies in SQL server, Jira Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, Microsoft Visio Creating reports of base risk analysis, capacity planning of resources by using various project management tools such as Jira and MS Project; preparing daily and weekly reports, such as, project status report, resource allocation report, project budget report, highlighting risks/roadblocks with mitigation plans and preparing monthly business delivery metrics for Managing Directors, Fund Controllers, Business Stakeholders and Operations team; utilizing methodologies and knowledge in object-oriented programming, operating systems, software engineering, data structures and more; Developing end-user training materials and delivering training to a broad user base for Counterparty Integration systems and tools such as Jira.; assisting with the analysis of middle office platform processes and capabilities and the ongoing development of technology strategy for internal system; designing and developing end-to-end business requirements for enterprise wide implementation using methodologies in computer and software systems, computer engineering and analysis and design of algorithms; creating various database SQL queries for data analysis to aid end-to-end requirement design using knowledge of database management systems; partnering with the business to ensure SLAs and other key metrics are met or exceeded; using Agile methodology and assist with management of deliverables, business specifications and use cases in Jira; reviewing and recommending best architecture business solutions or root causes of software issues to development team for updating programming code or database information as per latest technologies; providing resolutions to resolve or prevent issues in applications dependent upon the system using knowledge of computer science and business systems; and, acting as an escalation point for support issues and increase in-house functional support resolution.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Technology, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience as a Technology Lead, Senior Consultant or related position. Must also have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Working on Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies; analyzing business and technical needs, and models, such as process workflows, DFDs, and test plans; providing capacity, performance, scalability, availability and reliability assessments; utilizing ITG for project management; managing planning, estimation, scheduling and delivery for proposed projects; and, handling project planning and estimation, risk management, resource loading and budget planning, cost analysis, escalations management and conflict resolution, stakeholder management, project reporting, change control process and defect management for project. Must hold or have held PMP Certification.
