Description We are in the search for a detail oriented IT Helpdesk individual to join our team based in New Hyde Park, New York. The role primarily involves providing efficient and effective assistance with information technology systems, both remotely and in person, and ensuring customer satisfaction through superior service.Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to users regarding hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues via phone, email, live chat, or in person. Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems with computers, peripherals, applications, and network access. Document user issues in a ticketing system, tracking progress, and updating status. Manage user accounts, including password resets and access permissions. Install and update software applications on user workstations. Utilize remote desktop tools to access user systems and provide technical assistance. Communicate tech inquiries via email, through online chats, over the phone, or in person. Inform customers about IT products and services. Guide customers step-by-step through the problem-solving process. Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service. Relay customer feedback to the appropriate internal team members. Requirements Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk role Proficiency in Office 365 is required Knowledge of Azure is a must Experience with Outlook is necessary Familiarity with SharePoint is expected The candidate should be adept at using Active Directory Proficiency in PowerShell is required Experience with a Ticketing System is necessary Sound knowledge of IT service management is required Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
