Job Title: General Production WorkerLocation: Newark, NYJob Type: Contract-to-HireJob Overview:We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a General Production Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in the production of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes processes such as soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB handling, and more. You will work within established guidelines to meet manufacturing schedules while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Perform hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
Assemble electromechanical assemblies according to specifications.
Review and complete all required production documentation.
Read and interpret moderately complex assembly instructions.
Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure smooth and accurate assembly processes.
Operate machines and tools in line with safety and operational standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with hand soldering and assembly processes.
Familiarity with hand tools and general production techniques.
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and electronic assembly processes.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to cleanroom procedures.
Experience with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED required.
