Req Number 121157FlexStaff is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to join their team. MUST HAVE SURGICAL EXPERIENCE. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the essential administrative functions of the clinical areas. They will coordinate and direct patient care according to regulations and accepted accreditation standards and will oversee activities to accomplish the goals of the Quality Assurance/Risk Management Program and the Infection Control Program. The Director of Nursing will work closely with the Medical Staff to coordinate functions of patient care services and will directly supervise and manage all nursing and allied health positions reporting to the Administrator. Additionally, they will assist the Administrator in the Center's business, financial activities, and material management as needed.Education and Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Current New York State licensure required. Pending application with NYS acceptable if the candidate holds licensure from another state(s).

Nursing Management experience managing a surgery center required.

Perioperative and Surgical Nursing experience required.

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

CNOR preferred.

Outstanding interpersonal skills.

Computer literate required (Microsoft Word, Patient Database Software).
