The ideal Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. Maintain payment schedules, including capital lease
Prepare financial statements and reporting packages
Work up intricate account reconciliations and journal entries
Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner
Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls
Support reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger
Requirements - Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Sound understanding of industry specific accounting software
Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must
