Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a role for an Accounts Payable Clerk in MIDDLE VILLAGE, New York. The role is a short-term contract position, focused on account reconciliation, invoice processing, and data entry. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing key finance functions within our team.Responsibilities: Processing account payables and performing account reconciliations. Taking responsibility for accounts payable (AP) functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Conducting check runs regularly to maintain financial liquidity. Coding invoices accurately for proper record keeping and easy retrieval. Performing data entry tasks to ensure all financial data is digitalized and easily accessible. Processing invoices, ensuring all figures are accurate and up-to-date. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation. Working with Oracle to manage databases and information systems. Using QuickBooks for accounting purposes and financial management. Operating SAP for business operations and customer relations. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to perform Check Runs Knowledge of Coding Invoices Demonstrated skills in Data Entry Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Oracle software Familiarity with QuickBooks Experience with SAP software Attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Proven ability to meet deadlines.
