Responsibilities The Procedural Area Supply Chain Lead is responsible for the procedural supply chain functions in the OR, POB OR, CTOR, Cath Lab, and IR. The Procedural Area Supply Chain Lead performs all functions of placing orders, managing inventory, performing in-suite cycle counts, maintaining shelf organization and par levels, preparing purchase requisitions, receiving and shelving incoming supplies, expediting late and back orders and monitoring supply balances allowing proper supply availability for all procedural areas. Ensures special materials and implants specified by surgeons, physicians and other clinical staff are available. They will also work closely with OR leadership, Storeroom, and Purchasing to continuously improve the supply chain process. Will function as a liaison between the Materials Management Procedural/OR Specialist roles and the Procedural Area Supply Chain Supervisor. Join the Garnet Health team and let your excellence shine. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred. Minimum Experience: Three (3) years progressively responsible work experience in functional areas of Materials Management and or Operating Room in a healthcare setting. Detailed experience with inventory management and par management duties are required. Experience in procedural area supply chain and inventory management activities with knowledge of supply chain system(s). Ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels within the hospital. Strong analytical skills, problem solving, written and verbal skills are necessary. Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility. Ability to multi-task. Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled. Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations. May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary.
