We are an acute care facility with 25 beds, providing a wide range of medical, surgical, and pediatric care.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Massena HospitalDEPARTMENT: Environmental ServicesSCHEDULE: 8hr Shifts, VariableATTRIBUTESPreferred: custodial experiencePreferred: high school education or equivalentRESPONSIBILITIESRemoval and disposal of trash and waste product.Clean exam rooms, restrooms, offices and clinic common areas within establisheddepartmental standards.Maintain floors, strip and wax floors; shampoo carpets according to scheduled maintenancestandards.Maintain walkways to ensure safe access.Respond to visitor, patient and staff requests for assistance.Maintain knowledge of OSHA and MSDS practices.High focus on customer and patient satisfaction.Working as a team towards accomplishing departmental goals.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $15.54 - $19.75The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
