Description We are offering a position for an Administrative Assistant based in MANHASSET, New York. The role entails performing typing and data entry tasks to support our operations. The candidate will be required to handle confidential information with discretion and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Type correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents from handwritten, typed, or electronic sources. Enter data into computer systems and databases accurately and swiftly. Format documents according to established guidelines, including font styles, margins, and spacing. Proo typed documents for errors and inconsistencies. Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for documents and records. Organize and index files for easy retrieval and reference. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding typing and data entry assignments. Respond to inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of typed documents and data entry tasks. Review and verify data for errors or discrepancies. Provide administrative support to other departments as needed, including copying, scanning, and filing documents. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative assistant role Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word Excellent customer service skills Strong data entry capabilities Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally Proven track record of scheduling appointments in a timely and organized manner Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
