Title: Section Manager Process EngineeringJob duties: Lead a team of technicians and shift engineers providing day-to-day operations support. Coordinate daily technician and engineering activities on-shift to meet manufacturing objectives and department KPIs. Coordinate training to develop shift employees to safely perform their respective job assignments. Closely interface with lithography equipment team to understand tool events / change points and drive appropriate product response. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve production, quality, or maintenance issues. Review daily goals/priorities, project statuses, and qualification timelines and ensure resolution of open issues. Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize processes with regards to process stability and wafer yield. Support operational execution and technology development. Complete performance evaluations and career development plans.Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and two years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a process engineering, semiconductor manufacturing or similar role. Two years of experience is required in (1) leading a team of employees in daily operational activities and reviewing work to ensure performance to spec; (2) training team members on various technical job functions including tool qualification setup and response, lot hold response, wafer recovery from tools in error state, response to inline SPC and product defectivity failures (3) tracking technician performance vs. KPIs; (4) using structured problem solving techniques; (5) generating training operating procedures or specs; (6) using pivot tables and charting capability to analyze Fab data and communicate back to the team performance and goal setting based on that performance; (7) semiconductor device (14nm or below) for troubleshooting defect issues and assessing product risk of various tool failure modes; and (8) function and operation of one or more lithography tools including ASML scanners or TEL tracks.
