This paid internship opportunity will run from mid-November through to mid-February (dependent on exam timetable of the successful applicant) and will work in our talented underground engineering team, on-site at Macraes. Initial roster of 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off, until trained up before moving to an 8 on, 6 off roster.What will you be doing?Gaining practical experience in your chosen field of study by working on diverse projects assigned by department managers and team membersParticipating in various group activities and projects with other Interns, providing you with a well-rounded knowledge of the mining processPresenting your experiences and key learnings to the Site Management Team at the conclusion of the internship, showcasing your growth and achievementsSpecific project work will involve:This role will see you based in our underground mine office, assisting to the drill and blast engineering team. Key responsibilities will include:Designing production drill holes and charge plans for safe and efficient stope ore extractionWorking closely with the team to gain practical experience Going underground for hands-on learning
