We are looking for an Engineering Technician who will work directly with the Engineering and Design team to test and work on new and existing products, ensuring they meet client standards and specifications. You will conduct tests to ensure products can withstand weight, usage, and other requirements.About the Role:We seek an Engineering Technician with 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or electronics. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing, troubleshooting, reporting, and proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software.Key Responsibilities:
Testing: Set up and conduct electrical and mechanical tests, including mounting shades or brackets, and perform the testing.
Reporting: Prepare clear and detailed reports on test results. Report-writing solid skills are essential.
Day-to-day Activities: Adapt to daily task changes, primarily focusing on electrical skills.
Mechanical and Electrical Competencies: Apply knowledge of mechanical torque, electrical testing, and other relevant skills.
Hands-On Experience: Utilize experience with milling machines, drill presses, CNC, and other machining tools.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
Communication: Strong communication skills.
Testing & Reporting: Proven experience in testing and reporting.
Mechanical & Electrical Competencies: Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
Machining Tools: Hands-on experience with machining tools such as milling machines, drill presses, and CNC.
CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software. Experience with 3D modeling is a significant plus.
