We’re hiring drivers for FedEx deliveries servicing areas east of Holbrook and Bohemia. We offer both part-time and full-time positions, with opportunities to earn a dedicated route.
If you have the following qualifications, you’ll thrive with us:
Strong work ethic, integrity, positive attitude, and commitment to executing deliveries and pickups on time.
Clean driving record and experience (no CDL required). Previous experience with UPS, Amazon, FedEx, DHL, or similar companies is a plus.
At least 21 years old.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and safely handle packages up to 75 lbs (and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck).
Ability to pass a drug test (including marijuana).
Successful completion of a criminal and work background check as required by FedEx.
As a FedEx driver, your typical work routine will include:
Arriving at work by 7 a.m. to organize your truck load.
Performing pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure your truck complies with safety requirements.
Driving safely and defensively.
Executing deliveries and pickups with your best effort and staying in communication with your manager, who will always be just a phone call away.
