Job Summary:
This role requires a balance of technical and management skills, Manage and complete work orders in accordance with company processes. Respond to service calls, set up and establish an efficient job flow, coordinate job requirements, complete job documentation and monitor assigned jobs from beginning to end. Follow and enforce all job-site safety procedures. Establish communication and relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers
Responsibilities and duties:
Ensure the timely quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
Ensure and evaluate competence and quality of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
Ensure a continuous increase in the knowledge and skill level (training) of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers project.
Ensure the security, integrity, and cleanliness of all Company equipment and supplies used on or taken to assigned projects.
Ensure all required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo-documentation, is completed in accordance with established protocols order.
Ensure excellent customer communication and relations.
Complete work assignments in a timely, safe and quality manner.
Secure supplies and equipment from Company inventory needed to complete work assignments and return equipment and unused supplies after the assignment is complete
Requisition needed equipment or tools not in Company inventory.
Project paperwork, and photo-documentation in accordance with established protocols and procedures
Maintenance of Company trucks, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized fashion
Skills Required:
Effective oral communication
Basic math skills
Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work an On-Call rotation for nights and weekends with rest of team
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to travel locally and out of state if necessary
Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience working as crew chief
Experience working with mechanical equipment.
Experience working is as team lead.
Experience dealing with multiple clients.
Education:
High school diploma/GED
H&S certifications preferred
Any quality experience highly preferred.
Ability to learn new software,
