Ciuffo Cabinetry is looking for an experienced Millwork Finisher to join our team. We are a high-end millwork firm specializing in custom residential cabinetry. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone with a millwork finishing background to excel and be a part of a talented team of professionals. Our ideal candidate will have experience preparing, staining, spraying and glazing solid and veneer wood of all different types, and will have experience creating samples and matching colors/stains. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Preparing millwork to be sprayed/finished by sanding/filling wood.
- Spraying all different types of solid and veneer wood (cabinets, panels, doors, and trim etc.) with primer, paint, and top coats in an enclosed paint booth setting
- Sanding, sealing, staining, glazing and top coating all different types of solid and veneer wood (cabinets, panels, doors, and trim etc.)
- Mixing and applying primer
- Occasionally mixing dyes
- Bleaching and neutralizing wood
- Mixing catalysts, hardeners, and reducers for paint
- Replicating stains and colors from samples
- Maintaining inventory of finishing materials
- Cleaning and replacing finishing filters as needed
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of workspace
- Cleaning spray guns and machines with brushes and cleaner
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of wood finishing experience
- Must be able to work full-time, beginning early AM
- Must be able to work mandatory weekends and overtime as needed
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must be able to pass a background check.
This is a full-time position only – pay dependent upon skills/experience.
