John's Fuel Oil has been delivering quality fuel oil and diesel fuel to residents and business owners throughout eastern Suffolk County for more than 30 years. Reliable service, honest pricing, and prompt delivery remain the cornerstones of our Long Island-based family-run business. We are currently looking for a SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
Responsibilities:
· Must have valid NYS Driver’s License
· Boiler and Burner Repair Service
· Heating Installations
· Calibrate and adjust burner controls to obtain optimal boiler/burner performance
· External/Internal Boiler Inspections
· Boiler Cleanings
· Preventative maintenance
· Communicate affectingly with job site personnel
· Complete paperwork and related documentation on the work performed (time sheets, reports, material used and recommendations.)
Requirements:
· 3+ years hands-on experience and knowledge in troubleshooting steam, hot water boilers, burners (gas & oil combustion), associated control systems, electrical combustion, heat pumps, and associated piping systems.
· Great communication skills
· Professional work environment
· High School or equivalent
