Job Description:
Entry Level full time IT Service Technician - We currently have an immediate opportunity. Only local applicants who reside in the Western Suffolk County area will be considered.
Our technicians perform in house MS-OS, software and hardware maintenance, system staging and help desk support, as well as travel to client's sites for system installation, maintenance and emergency service.
Required paperwork is to be completed and submitted on a daily basis.
This position requires technical skills, MS-OS and networking skills, strong people skills, and a flexible schedule. A+ and N+ are helpful.
Requirements:
Experienced in Microsoft Operating Systems 10\11 Pro and Microsoft Server and its Networking
Ability to configure and network Optimum, Verizon and Time Warner phone/internet modems and routers
Strong hardware repair skills
Strong research skills
Ability to research and implement new technology on the fly
Ability to carry out and complete tasks independently
Excellent customer relations skills
Required to work Monday through Friday plus the ability to be on call scheduled evenings and weekends is a must
On time to work and to customer appointments
Must be able to move and install systems, lift and deliver items up to 70 lbs each and work under counters, confined spaces and up on ladders
Timely, legible and accurate preparation of paperwork
Must own a reliable vehicle
Must have an up to date Smartphone and Win10\11 Pro laptop.
Own your own tools
