At Maxxima, we are innovators dedicated to creating and developing technologically advanced LED lighting and electrical solutions for the consumer and transportation markets. We are looking for a full-time Business Development Associate to join our growing consumer division, MaxximaStyle.

This role is 100% onsite at our headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.

Responsibilities:

- Generate and prospect new leads from contractors, developers, realtors and other industry professionals

- Outbound calls to leads and existing customers eligible for our MaxxBuyer program

- Build rapport with customers, and identify cross-sell opportunities

- Educate customers about our products and answer technical questions

- Prepare customer mailings and materials for trade shows

- Place orders and provide support with customer service issues as needed

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce CRM

- Develop prioritized and actionable lead lists

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in any field preferred

- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or ecommerce customer support

- Field experience or proven success selling lighting, electrical supplies or similar products

- Basic understanding of sales principles

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong time management skills to consistently maximize productivity

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

- Effective at working both independently and collaboratively with a team

- Salesforce experience a plus

- Magento experience a plus

The base salary range for this position is $50k - $80k annually.
