Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Showroom Secretary to join our team. This position will support both showroom operations and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth customer experience and efficient office management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a strong ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom, providing basic product information and directing them to sales staff as needed.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.
Schedule appointments for sales consultations and installations.
Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization, ensuring samples and displays are well-presented.
Process customer orders, invoices, and payments.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory tracking.
Coordinate with vendors, installers, and sales representatives to ensure smooth operations.
Provide support for marketing efforts, including social media updates and promotional materials.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred.
Knowledge of window treatments or interior design is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn showroom management software.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
