We are seeking a part-time sales associate to join the small team at our seasonal Montauk Shop at the Crow's Nest! This is a part-time and flexible position. Store hours are 5-10pm, so this is a great opportunity for someone with a day job or seeking additional hours in the evenings! You will join a small friendly team, working at one of the Hampton's best venues. This is a seasonal position (Memorial Day-Labor Day) and truly one of the best summer jobs Out East!
As retail associate, you will provide friendly and helpful customer service, process sales and communicate any notes or inventory needs. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are of paramount importance to success in this position. We are a small (but quickly growing) company committed to fair trade, ethical labor practices, and the highest environmental standards.
Retail Associate responsibilities are:
Complete sales transactions using the store's POS system
Manage store inventory counts and communicate any sizing or product needs, including third party merchandise
Maintain a calm and collected demeanor during periods of high volume
Anticipate customer and store needs
Deliver impeccable customer service to all store visitors
Maintain a clean and organized store floor
Retail Associate requirements are:
Calm under pressure, organized
Excellent verbal, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Previous customer service experience is a plus
