A Wholesale Distribution Company of Marble and Granite is looking for an experienced individual who can drive the 15,000 LBS FORKLIFT to load unload trucks and 20' box containers. We are looking for an individual who can wear multiple hats and performs various tasks.
Hours: Mon - Fri: 8 am to 5 pm.
Sat - 9 am to 1pm.
Sun - Closed.
Job Description
Load/unload flatbed trucks and trailers.
Unload 20' steel box containers.
Moving granite slabs safely and store them in racks.
Must follow all the safety rules and regulations.
Keep record or all tools and machines and organize them in one place at all times.
Secure all the inventory with straps at the end of the day.
Process all return items and place them in dedicated area.
Plan and organize the inventory allotment area for the new inventories in warehouse.
Cleaning floors, bathrooms, windows, cabinets etc.
Organize and keep count of office supplies.
Order merchandise online or purchase in store.
Maintain Coffee station and serve coffee or snacks to walk-in customers and office staff.
General maintenance of the warehouse, like landscaping, organizing tools etc.
Clean cars and trucks.
Cutting woods, samples and organize them in order.
Lift 30-50-lbs.
All other work which is assigned by the supervisor has to be done.
Job Requirements
Must be able to work Mon - Sat.
Must be able to come on time every day!
Must have their own transportation.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Must finish all the tasks in given time.
Must be organized and dependable.
Must know how to work on smart phones and tablets.
Must be able to process given information and pass it over to specific person or department.
Must be a problem solver.
Must be able to take right decisions on impromptu situations.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Language fluency - ENGLISH / SPENISH(speaking, reading, writing) for location of employment
