We’re looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our deli team. As a Deli Clerk, you’ll be working behind the counter preparing, slicing, packaging, and serving deli items to customers. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist with deli orders in a courteous and timely manner
Slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications
Prepare salads, sandwiches, and other deli products
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area
Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist in opening or closing duties as needed
Work as part of a team to ensure the deli runs smoothly
Requirements:
Prior deli or food service experience is a plus, but not required — we’re willing to train the right person
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Available to work weekends and holidays, as needed
