Small business owner in the commercial HVAC energy related business located in Huntington near LIRR has an immediate Part Time opening for a dual role office/sales assistant. Responsibilities Include:
1) Filing and Organizing Invoices & Other Documents
2) Follow-up On Orders, Tracking Information, Deliveries with Vendors,
3) Receiving & Completing Required Paperwork For Customer Rebate Applications
4) Follow-up with Sales Prospects & Active Customers
5) Making Phone Calls To Generate New Business & Setting Appointments
6) Basic Bookkeeping Skills (Quick Books Desktop Version Experience is a Big Plus)
7) Data Entry
8) Marketing Mailing Postcards, Letters, Etc.
The ideal candidate should be neat, well organized, and phone friendly. Non-smokers please.
Knowledge of QB Desktop and MS Excel, Word, Outlook is very helpful for this position
This is a Part Time Position. Initial Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12-5 but may be subject to change.
Rate: $25 per Hour
