Real Estate/Zoning Law Firm, located in Sayville, New York (Suffolk County), seeks Administrative Assistant to work and perform in a fast-paced, professional work environment with the ability to multi-task.
1. Duties include, but are not limited to, billing and preparation of client files and applications relative to zoning work for permits and municipal approvals. Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office / Excel / Word and be able to prepare, move and lift file boxes (weighing up to 35 pounds).
2. Individual must be able to draft letters, memos and general correspondence, undertake data entry work and prepare Airbills, etc. for Federal Express, UPS and USPS.
3. Individual will open, sort and distribute mail, sort and maintain files, both electronically and manually, and maintain internal directories for clients, vendors and emergency personnel.
4. Individual must be proficient in the use of copy machines, fax machine, postage meter and typewriter.
5. Individual will assist Attorney, Office Manager and other Staff with daily operations including, but not limited to, answering and re-directing incoming phone calls and taking detailed messages.
6. Legal background and/or experience preferred.
Salary range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour and commensurate with experience.
