Currently seeking a Quality and Safety Lead with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks, must be self-motivated, efficient and detail orientated.
Job Functions:
- Review shipping documents and verify that products for pickup are accurate and in order
- Inspect and verify all incoming shipments
- Monitor and record item scrap daily
- Exercise judgment to react to quality control issues
- Generate records regarding any materials that are non-conforming
- Investigate (and correct) customer complaints relating to quality
- Assist Management to maintain, update and handle all matters related to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
- Participate in internal quality audits
- Assist Management to maintain, update and handle all matters related to Safety Standards
- Maintain a safe and orderly department
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures and control standards
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be organized
- Computer proficiency; Typing, fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willingness to assist
Competencies and Authorities:
- On the job training
- Quality Inspector experience preferred – 2 years minimum or associate’s degree
- ISO experience desirable
Physical Demands:
- Standing for long periods, sitting, walking and bending may occur daily. This position may also require frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 lbs.
