Maxxima is an established LED lighting and electrical supply brand in the consumer home and transportation space. We’re in search of a full-time Product Sourcing Associate to support our ecommerce division MaxximaStyle with our growing line of 460+ product SKUs.
This role is 100% onsite at our headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
This exciting new role works directly with our Sourcing Manager to assist with product and vendor management, product sourcing, communications with overseas suppliers mainly from China, and conducting market research to help us stay ahead of the competition. You’ll inevitably have a big impact on the growth and development of our product line as we continue adding more product SKUs and enhancing the customer experience we provide.

Responsibilities:
- Product development of new and existing products from Wi-Fi tech to LED bulbs
- Onboard of new suppliers; build and cultivate those business relationships
- Collaborate with others across the organization to streamline product lifecycle data
- Assist with negotiating pricing, terms, and holding suppliers accountable
- Ensure compliance with product quality control
- Maintain detailed product records and documentation, and update databases with product specifications
- Conduct market research analyzing competitor trends to expand our product categories
- Other product development and sourcing tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in business, logistics, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience sourcing products; experience with overseas suppliers preferred
- Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Works effectively on competing tasks with a sense of urgency and diligence
- Ability to problem solve both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Outstanding communications skills in all formats
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word and Excel)
The base salary range for this position is $60k - $80k annually.
