Location: Hicksville, NY (Primary Location) with travel to other towns as required

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Estate Auction Photographer and Product Photographer to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

The Estate Auction Photographer and Product Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of auction items and products, ensuring that each item is presented accurately and attractively. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical photography skills, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. The majority of the work will be done at our storage unit located in Hicksville, NY, but occasional travel to other towns will be necessary to photograph items at clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Photograph a wide range of items including antiques, collectibles, furniture, artwork, jewelry, electronics, and other auction items.

Capture high-quality, detailed images of products for online listings and marketing materials.

Set up and manage photo shoots, including arranging lighting, backgrounds, and props to enhance the appearance of each item.

Edit and retouch photos to ensure clarity, color accuracy, and overall aesthetic quality (if needed).

Work closely with the auction and sales teams to prioritize items for photography and ensure timely delivery of images.

Stay updated with the latest photography techniques, equipment, and software to continuously improve the quality of work.

Travel to clients' homes in various towns as needed to photograph items in their possession, ensuring professional conduct and high-quality standards during on-site shoots.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing estate auction and product photography.

Proficiency in using professional photography equipment and software, including DSLRs, lighting setups, and photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to capture intricate details of various items.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with different teams.

Creativity and a passion for photography, with a keen eye for composition and aesthetics.

Physical ability to handle and move heavy items for photography purposes.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Existing setup for product photography, including lighting, backdrop, and camera equipment. If you do not have your own setup, we will provide the necessary equipment for you to perform your duties effectively.

Experience with on-site photography or real estate photography.
