Entry-Level Paralegal -SPANISH SPEAKING

Fast-paced law practice with a focus on Will, Trusts, Estates, Real Estate, and Personal Injury is looking for a sharp entry-level paralegal. Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30pm

Some responsibilities:

Handle office correspondence, like answering mail, emails, and phone calls.

Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly.

Gather Information and collect documents as per Attorney's Instructions.

Communicate with clients to keep them updated on the status of cases, etc.

Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as meetings with clients and real estate closings, and coordinate with the various players of a transaction.

MUST:

Speak, write, and read Spanish fluently.

Proficient with MS Office products

Knowledge of online office management software.

Candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent computer skills, and think outside the box.

Have a strong work ethic and be a go getter, room for growth for the right candidate.

Ability to take direction.

Be able to multitask and prioritize tasks; ability to plan out your days/work to avoid emergencies (time management skills)

Have experience working in a law office.

Be personable and professional.

Have great organizational skills.

Be technologically Savvy. (Microsoft Office a must)

Pay close attention to details.

Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

Must be able to organize and maintain multiple calendars.

Good communication and writing skills.

Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PLUS:

Knowledge of residential real estate transactions, personal injury, drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents a PLUS.

Assist attorney with various substantive and administrative responsibilities from case inception through settlement, including preparing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related legal documents. Knowledge of Court rules and filing/e-filing procedures is a plus.

Ability to perform legal research and e-file a plus.
