About the role:
We are seeking an experienced senior electrical mechanic responsible for the full electrical installations and interconnections on solar projects. This person will mainly be working on commercial scale projects on Long Island and NYC, but may also be pulled to complete full residential service upgrades as needed. This role requires strong work ethic, dedication to the trade, eagerness to learn/improve skills and ability to work as part of a team. In this role, you will be leading complete electrical installations on both the commercial and residential level.
This position is NOT open for junior mechanics

General Duties:
Mount, wire and interconnect solar electrical equipment on commercial services
Familiarity working with Rigid/EMT conduit and fittings from 1"-4"
Familiarity building Kindorf racks to mount equipment
Preform full residential service upgrades, as needed, including installation of new mast/risers, feeders, meter pan, MSP and circuits
Work under NYSERDA, AHJ and NEC standards
Requirements:
Clean / Valid Drivers License
OSHA 10 or 30
Knowledge of NEC Code
Hard working and detailed oriented
Owns basic power and hand tools
Ability to work in all weather conditions
