Seeking a Licensed Pesticide Applicator with a valid New York State 3A Ornamental and Turf certification. We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to ornamental landscapes and turf areas in accordance with NYS DEC regulations.
- Identify pest and weed issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Safely handle and mix chemical applications.
- Maintain accurate application and treatment records.
- Operate spray equipment, spreaders, and other related machinery.
- Interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Maintain compliance with all state and local pesticide application laws.
Requirements:
- Valid NYS Pesticide Applicator License with Category 3A (Ornamental and Turf).
- Knowledge of proper pesticide handling, storage, and application procedures.
- Clean and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in turf or ornamental pesticide application is preferred.
