Janitorial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Clean restrooms
Replenish restrooms
Empty trash, garbage removal
Shampoo carpets
Clean desks where applicable
Clean tables in conference rooms and cafeteria
Vacuum offices and common areas
Clean glass and window
Dust partitions, cabinets, and vents
Mop floors
Shine stainless
Strip and wax floors
Assist with other maintenance duties as required
Physical Functions Required:
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting 50 lbs. or more
Ability to use motorized equipment such as fork truck, tractor
Ability to read and comprehend safety material and facility required documents.
The ideal candidate will require:
Minimum of a High School diploma
Minimum of 2 years' experience in related maintenance work preferred.
Trade school specialties: Electrical, Mechanical experience a plus
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Ability to be flexible to work and manage different work assignments daily
Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment
Strong attention to detail
Be able to communicate with supervisors and employees in a professional manner
Must have ability to work overtime as needed. 6AM START- 2 HR OT will be paid.
Helping with setting up company events
Removal of snow during inclement weather: shoveling walkways and doorways.
US Citizenship is required
