We are seeking a meticulous and professional Housekeeper to join the team of a private family estate on a full-time, year-round basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in private households or luxury hospitality, with a strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. This position includes paid vacation, health insurance, and a 401(k), and requires someone who is service-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a private household or luxury hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping best practices, organization, and cleaning techniques
- Ability to assist with food & beverage service and simple culinary prep
- Trustworthy with a high level of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with household staff
- Comfortable with laundry care, closet organization, and deep cleaning
- U.S. work authorization
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of assigned rotating areas of the home
- Ensure the residence is guest- and principal-ready at all times
- Assist with organizing closets, storage areas, and staff spaces
- Support deep cleaning projects during slower periods or as directed
- Help with laundry tasks, including washing, folding, and wardrobe maintenance
- Participate in inventory checks, restocking, and supply reporting
- Support food and beverage service during meals or events as needed
- Assist with simple food prep and kitchen support
- Complete special projects assigned by the House Manager
Schedule: Full-time, year-round. Must be flexible for occasional weekend or evening coverage as needed
Compensation: $35–$45/hour, depending on experience. Paid vacation, health insurance & 401(k) after probationary period
