Assistant for a construction manager

The Laurel group is a Landscape design and build construction company that installs fine landscapes throughout Long island. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive construction assistant to support a project manager in the Hamptons area. This is a dynamic role that requires excellant communication, problem solving skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. They will assist the project manager in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the project manager with project plans, timelines and budgets.

Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.

Maintain communication with clients under the direction of the project manager.

Assist in managing client requests and addressing concerns during project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a clean drivers license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Able to work throughout the Hamptons to Montauk point.

Have the ability to work independantly and as part of a team.

Self motivated and able to multitask in in a fast paced environment.

1-3 years Landscape construction or related field is desirable.
