Surgical Coordinator

We're a growing practice looking to add onto our tight knit team! Busy orthopedic surgeon looking for a part-time surgical coordinator. Hours are flexible 2-3 days per week, approximately 20 hours per week. This is an in-person position, there is NO remote work available. Responsibilities include contacting patients to schedule surgeries, scheduling surgeries at various hospitals and surgery centers in Nassau County, following up on surgical authorization requests, submit surgical authorizations through Workman's Compensation OnBoard Portal. Medical/surgical scheduling experience required. Spanish speaking is a plus.
