CareFirst Home Solutions is hiring Live In companions, Live In-home health aides (HHAs) and Live In personal care aides (PCAs) across all of Nassau County. Live in shifts available. Our opportunities are open to those who have a genuine desire to assist others live an independent and safe life in the comfort of their own homes. A minimum of two years experience as a live in with references. PLEASE read through entire post. We are always looking for caring, dedicated and people with a big heart! Our live in cases are 7 days/week and go for from two weeks to two months.
You must live in the tri-state area
You MUST have a SOCIAL SECURITY CARD and VALID work authorization. This job is ON the books
Requirements:
Must demonstrate competency in basic home health aide skills
Candidate must have a valid government I.D. and social security card
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
2 professional references required
Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude
Previous experience working with seniors, two years necessary as a live in
Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
A clean, neat, professional appearance
Drug free lifestyle

Job Role:
Assisting with ADL's, showering, toileting, dressing, meal prep, housekeeping, laundry, engaging patients in activites and conversation, ability to lift at least 25 pounds, ability to stand for at least an hour.
