Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook. The Line Cook will play a key role in executing our menu with precision, creativity, and consistency. As a crucial member of our culinary team, the Line Cook will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and participate in the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety regulations
Assist in menu development and innovation, contributing ideas for new dishes and culinary techniques
Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to management
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards at all times
Assume responsibility as a key holder, assisting with opening shifts and ensuring the bar is prepared for business
Perform opening duties such as unlocking doors, turning on lights, and setting up kitchen equipment and stations
Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with at least 2 years of experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred, but not required
ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training is a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
